(Rankings listed from highest to lowest)
This stallion directs the herd. In some cases, in Forever Herds, the herd may stay in one place or travel to other destinations depending on the environment. Other members of the herd must oblige by the rules that the Alpha decides on. It his not his job to decide if other horses may breed but the Creator's (Admin). If at any time a potential threat may attempt to attack, Alpha will defend the herd. Alpha male may only mate with Alpha female. He also decides whether or not to exile herd member.
Alpha Male must choose a mate before and soon after becoming a leader of the herd. This female must be devoted to the Alpha and cannot mate with another stallion. She also helps to direct the herd and contributes to decisions that need to be finalized.
This horse may be a stallion or mare. They are like a general of an army. This creature is very loyal to his/her leader and obeys his orders. He/her controls the beta's decisions and if ever a beta rebels it is a huge sign of disrespect toward these horses. If needed, this horse (and if he chooses, other betas) will fight along side with Alpha Male. This stallion may choose his/her one love or may breed with different stallions/mares. They make sure the betas are doing their job/s. If the herd is very large then there may be more than one Top Beta. He/she may also contribute to a herd decision if the Alpha Male feels that it is necessary.
These horses are like knights to the King (Alpha male) and Queen (Alpha female). They make sure everything is going well and running smoothly in a herd. They watch out for any kind of danger and will warn the herd. They go by orders of the Top Beta for the Alpha Male and Female will rarely give them orders directly. They also may also choose one love or 1-3 other mates.
An omega has pretty much no responsibility among the herd except to follow orders and if ever there is a fight they must protect the young foals. They can do almost whatever they like in the herd but they may not breed. It is hard for these horses to find a mate for they have to become at least a beta and so does their mate. The herd relies on this ranking for it builds the population of the herd to make it look stronger and more plentiful.
